FIRST OF ALL please remember that just because you're safe at home behind your computer--or your parent's computer--you are still a human being and the others on here (unless they're aliens or something) are also human, with feelings and all that good crap. Despite contrary belief, the adage "do unto others what you would have done unto yourself" (something like that) works great here and pretty much everywhere else. I can think of one place in Chicago, a restaurant, that the whole point of going there is to be mean to your waitress and the waitress to be mean to you. I personally don't find any urge to go there, but there's nothing wrong if you do (lol I just think you're weird). It is for certain, however, that I don't want that here.
Long story short--please be nice to each other!
Ok, now then... we all have our different views on how to roleplay, and I don't want to make a generalized "way" to do it. There are several different kinds, and if I had all my old links, I could show you the different variations. BASICALLY, it's all the same thing, whether you use " * " to notate your actions, italics, or just plain old descriptive writing. I've also seen " :: " used. If you have no idea what the frick I'm talking about, I'll show you four different ways to say the same thing...

"Hey, Pickle-head! I'm talking to you!"
*Kioji shouts at the top of her lungs, pulling the sticks and thorns from her hair. She peers after her friend.*
"Hey, don't ignore me!"

(not suggested--I've seen some boards have trouble with the " :: " because it deals with their formatting or whatever, but it seems to be fine on here, but I'd get used to NOT doing it like that if you post on different boards)

"Hey, Pickle-head! I'm talking to you!" Kioji shouts at the top of her lungs, pulling the sticks and thorns from her hair. She peers after her friend. Peeved, she hiked up her skirts and yelled again.
"Hey, don't ignore me!"

Notice that there isn't much difference, but the last way allows for more description, I find, and can even be helpful for you and your writing skills. It's more of a continuous story, giving everyone more details and clues on how to act.
Long story short--the more detail the better.
And now you're probably wondering about rules. Well, soon as problems arise, then I will promptly make rules to combat them. ^.^ Now this may seem unfair, and you might argue "but there isn't a rule against it," and you might be a little right, but for me to have to jump in and create something forbidding you and others from doing it, then it probably means you are being stupid.
Longer story short--use common sense.
Any rules to this RPG constitution will be added to this post. Any questions, educated comments, or concerns, please ask now or forever remain ignorant.
